PK & Kindergarten Entrance
3 & 4 Year Old Preschool Entrance
In order to register for preschool, a child must be a Tuckerton resident and three or four years of age on or before October 1st to be eligible to enter the preschool program for the current school year.
Kindergarten Entrance
In accordance with Board Policy#5112, a child must be five years of age on or before October 1st to be eligible to enter Kindergarten for the current school year.
Prior to Registering
New/Transfer Student Registration
If you are new to the district, you must first withdraw your student from his/her previous school.
*Please be advised in any situation where both parents do not reside with the student, ONLY the parent who has been given primary residential custody through the court system will be permitted to register a student, and evidence of such must be provided before the registration is finalized.

NOTE: During the online registration, you will be asked to download, print, and/or complete various documents. If you have scan capabilities, you may upload the completed documents prior to your final submission. If you do not have scan capabilities, you will be asked to complete those forms and bring them with you to the school.
The following items are required to complete the application process:
Proof of Residency
Please provide ONE of the following which must include parent/guardian’s name and local address:
- Current mortgage statement
- Property deed
- Current tax bill
- Current lease or rental agreement (all pages must be included)
OR
Please provide TWO of the following which must include parent/guardian name and local address:
- Current utility bill (gas, electric, cable, water, sewer)
- Recent Post Office change of address form/notification
Student’s ORIGINAL birth certificate
Divorce/Custody/Guardianship papers (if applicable) Documents must be current
IEP/504 Plan/I & RS (if applica ble) Documents must be current
Student’s current immunization records
The immunization records can be obtained from your student’s physician and must be up to date with required immunizations.
Universal Health Record
Must be filled out by the student's physician. The form is located in the Student Health/Medical tab in the online registration.
Transfer card from student’s previous school (if applicable).

Step 1: Enter Parent/Guardian's First name, Last name, and valid email address
Step 2: Go to your email account and follow the verification instructions link emailed to you from OnCourse Connect
Step 3: Chose the school year in which your student is being registered and click next
Step 4: Follow the guide, filling out all required information on each of the following pages and attaching any important documents.
- Student information
- Student Demographics
- Student Academics
- Student Health/Medical
- Parent/Guardian/Contact Information
Step 5: Electronic Signature
Be sure to check the acknowledgment box, add your electronic signature, and click, “Submit Registration”
Each student must be registered individually.
